Photos from Monash South Africa 2013 Semester 2 Freshmen game Night

On Wednesday, the 24th of July, 2013, the freshmen game and exchange students' night was held in the residences hall. I was called by the residence advisors (the hosts of the event) to help host a fun dance contest between the students. When my cue was up, 2 students from each of the 6 residences were selected to represent their various residences in a dance contest. I was to show them a dance move (specifically African), and points were given to all contestants based on how well they copied my move.

Monash Talent Show 2013

The Monash South Africa University is having a talent show on the 17th of May 2013. I shall be signing up under the dance category.
Since I have observed that a majority of the viewers of this blog expect more traditional African 'stuff' to be posted, I shall be showing off my dance moves of 'Coupe decale' from Cote d'Ivoire, 'Kuduro' from Angola, 'Azonto' from Ghana and 'Etighi' from Nigeria. These are currently the the top dance styles in Africa, and by God I and my dance partner shall deliver them with elan.
